Lumora OS (accessible at lumoralinux.tech) is an open-source, performance-focused Linux distribution project. We strongly value user privacy, digital autonomy, and data minimization. We only collect the minimal information necessary to power the community discussions platform.

2. Information We Collect

When you choose to sign in via Google OAuth ("Continue with Google") on our Discussions forum, we receive basic public profile information provided by Google Identity Services:

• Email Address: Used to uniquely identify your community account and prevent duplicate registrations.
• Display Name: Displayed alongside your forum topics and discussion replies.
• Profile Avatar: Displayed on your user profile icon and community posts.

We do not collect passwords, payment information, physical addresses, browsing histories, or private personal data.

3. Google User Data Policy

Lumora OS adheres strictly to Google API Services User Data Policy:

• We only request access to basic authentication scopes (openid, email, profile).
• We do not sell, rent, monetize, or lease your Google user data to any advertisers, third parties, or data brokers.
• We do not use your Google user data for targeted advertising or user profiling.

4. Content Moderation & Community Safety

To keep the Lumora OS community safe, legal, and welcoming for gamers of all backgrounds, our backend systems run an automated content safety filter. We have a zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM/CP), sexually explicit adult content, illegal media, and hate speech. Any submission violating these guidelines is blocked automatically, and offending accounts are subject to immediate termination.

5. Data Storage, Retention & Deletion

Your session data is processed securely through Cloudflare Edge infrastructure. You may request the complete deletion of your account and all associated discussion posts at any time by contacting our lead development team at [email protected]. Requests will be honored promptly within 30 days.
